Visit to Podere Pradarolo
We spent a few days with Alberto and Claudia at Podere Pradarolo, in the Parma hills who will be joining our portfolio in October. We we lucky enough to time with the pressing of their Malvasia di Candia Aromatica for passito: the grapes had been drying outside for two weeks and had concentrated to pure sugar in the sun. The passito will be on our pallet, along with their red, white, methodo classico and grappa. These are wines characterised by extended macerations, which is particularly unusual in their rich, amber whites.
